New Threads

That term... new threads... has changed its meaning for me.  For most of my life when I heard or referred to the phrase "new threads" I associated that with new clothing.  Not any more.  Now it means something totally different....

My order of new THREADS arrived this week and I can hardly wait to start playing with them! WooHoo! Oh the things that excite us.  My oceans will be more colorful with the variety of blues and greens and greys I am getting into my "stash". I never thought I'd put THREAD on my wish list. Yep, times and I have changed.

I just finished getting my next piece ready for the THREADS, although not many colors will be needed for this one. It's Cape Disappointment in Washington, just a few miles south of North Head, at the mouth of the Columbia River where it meets up with the Pacific Ocean. The waters there can be very treacherous.
