Building Castles.... but not in the sand

Today I've been working on "building" this castle. It is a paper pieced FREE pattern you can find here:
castle pattern   I did one of these a few years ago for my great niece and now Bailey is old enough to enjoy it I think.  A little bag will be built around it for her to carry around all her treasures.  I used my collection of Fairy Frost fabrics for it. On the opposite side will be another paper pieced pattern, a crown with jewels, after all a princess in her castle needs a crown!

I did get Bailey's quilt finished up this week, so it is all ready to be wrapped and sent down for her birthday.

Now I think I'll go get lost in a book for a while, underneath a warm quilt. It's another gray, cold day here. There's been some freezing fog that still clings to the branches outside.

Mom is feeling fine now -- got over her cold/pneumonia without having to go to the hospital -- hooray.
DH is still waiting for his "you're hired" call to come in.
Adam's family could be having some major changes soon, to hopefully help Jenna's health situation.
Also on my heart and in my prayers are:
Morgan
Debbie - round 4 starts Monday
Linda K
Joana
Cindy
