It's NOVEMBER - let's have Pie!

The house was smelling mighty fine this morning as this apple pie was baking.  Can hardly wait for dinner to be over so we can dig into it! Yum Yum
I've heard from all but one person I know who was in the path of the storm. I'm trusting, and praying, that she is just without power but otherwise okay.

No storms here, but the wind continues to blow down the leaves. I'm glad I got round one blown and 'corralled' earlier in the week, although to look out now you wouldn't guess I had done anything out there. LOL  They are pretty whether still on the tree or on the ground.  I hope/plan to get them up this weekend as the weather is to be sunny and nice.

I've been busy in my sewing room working on swap pieces and gifts, which means that there is nothing I can post yet of what I've been doing. I can say it has been a wide variety of projects.... art quilt pieces, bags, etc. I don't think I could handle doing just one kind of thing for very long. LOL

I'm attending a great Bible Study right now...

We're halfway through now -- it's just a 6 week overview study. Even with that, there is so much to learn and take in. It is good to be in a group study again and I so enjoy and get so much out of Beth Moore. She is funny and knowledgeable, and has such a passion for Christ and the Word.

This has also been one of those weeks.... DH cut a couple of fingers when replacing the roof vents ... I bumped another car in a parking lot (sigh) ... DH broke the light fixture in the front room ...I poked myself with a sewing needle ... I think that is enough for one week.
