Thankfulness

THANKSGIVING

We've arrived safely at our kid's today. Oh my, I am so thankful that I am not having to deal with the city traffic and freeway parking lots on a regular basis any more.  The mountain pass was a little wet with rain, otherwise totally clear, unlike a year ago when we had this as this passed over....

We are anxious to see Miss Bailey, as well as the rest of our kids. We are staying with our oldest son (and his cat). 

Last night we had an early Thanksgiving meal with all my sibs and in-laws. Yum... what a feast. It was nice being able to spend a little time with them, and for my brothers to have a chance to go visit with Mom. We weren't able to bring her to the dinner due to her not being able to transport well or go up stairs, even with help.

We often find that we have long lists of complaints, things to grouse about or feel sorry for ourselves about. I much prefer to focus on the things to be thankful for....
