WooHoo! I got the ribbon border attached to the quilt this week. I'm really pleased with how it has turned out. I did have to add a little here and there to get it to fit perfectly, but you have to look close to see where I did it. Now on to the rest of the hand embroidery. I was trying to figure out what to do to keep the raw outer edge from fraying while I do the embroidery. I considered zigzagging along the edge, but then I had a lightbulb moment.
I did a double fold and used my 'binding' clips (still need to get the new Clover ones). Now the raw edge is safely tucked in and there will be no issues with it fraying.
Almost finished with your lovely quilt.
