My favorite escape

For many years I had the joy of getting to head out to the Oregon Coast twice a year with a group of girlfriends where we would rent a house with a great view of the beach/ocean.  The picture I did today is from the favorite place we stayed. It was right along the beach and the views were awesome. One trip we sat out and watched the whales as they migrated north. Then there were the awesome sunsets and the wild storms -- each with their own beauty. The colors, the ocean, the smells would change each day depending on the weather and time of day. So amazing, and something new to discover each day.
