Earth Day

I remember the first Earth Day - in my early high school days.  We got out of classes in the afternoon and went out and cleaned up the streets and sidewalks in the neighborhoods that surrounded out school. Many bags of garbage were filled that day, and in the many years since.  I have always been one who could not tolerate people littering.  God gave us this beautiful earth and gave us the responsibility to be good care takers of His creation. Is that too much to ask?

I have been so privileged to have been able to visit many places in this great land - to be at the ocean, along rivers in the forest, in the desert, in vast open country, and the list goes on and on...
