There are benefits of having DH home all the time (although we are both looking forward to the day he is back at work again). One of the great things is he loves making breakfasts, so almost daily he asks me what I would like for breakfast. Today was muffins. He made us some wonderful apple and cranberry muffins with a brown sugar topping... well that was the plan. The topping, however, had its own ideas and most of it is now burned on to the floor of the oven. Yep, oven cleaning on the list for today!
Anyway, that which remained created some interesting tops for our muffins....

Oh the things the mind can create! LOL Despite the interesting topped muffins, I must say, they are mighty tasty. Now to get the smoke out of the house! Good thing it is a nice day and not too cold to have the windows open.
Look good enough to eat to me. Mick loves to cook so I clean....grin. It's nice.
