'Painting' and Praying
Yesterday I worked on a new thread painting picture. This is Haystack Rock near Cannon Beach, Oregon read about it here. The tide was in and there was an awesome reflection that day, despite the overcast skies. I'm thinking I want to do a few more, perhaps at sunset and a clear blue sky day.
As I was creating this picture my mind and heart was torn between Ohio and Arizona. In Ohio on Saturday the son and granddaughter of my dear friend Gwen were kayaking in a bay on Lake Erie. They didn't return home and there has been a search for them over the last two days. Only the kayaks have been found. How my heart goes out to Gwen and the rest of the family and friends. I can't imagine how she much be feeling.
Our son Adam has an infection in one of his heart valves. Today they will scope it and hopefully determine what kind of infection it is so they will know how to deal with it. We are hoping it can be treated with antibiotics, but there is a possibility of surgery needed.
I appreciate all the prayers being said for my friend and my family.
There's a lot going on right now.
My BIL is having more major neck problems and may need another surgery.
My sister is looking at potential serious health issues, getting some tests run today.
Debbie is having some tests done - hopefully with good results so she can start radiation treatment soon.
Adam, DH, Peter are all job hunting.
These are just of few of the many concerns on my heart. Isn't it great to have God who hears each and every prayer and concern and cry and need. He cares for each and every one of us.
