Bailey Wear

My sister gave me some fabric and a pattern that she had hoped to use for her granddaughter, but with how their life is going right now... house remodeling, caring for grandson, health challenges, etc... she knows it just isn't going to happen, so she gifted it to me. Pretty special!
Such fun and cheerful fabrics!  The pattern was one that JoAnn's used for a model last year and we both really liked it.
Bailey is growing like a weed right now, so I made a size 6 and hope it will fit her nicely.  The size 5 dress I made for Easter is a bit tight already! Oh my!  I will be making her more sundresses, now that she is in a much warmer (hotter) climate year round now. Such a sacrifice that a Nana has to make. LOLOL

I altered the pattern a bit and lined the bodice and the sleeve caps for a more finished look and to have fewer raw edge seams showing. Really am pleased with the results!

  1. What a beautiful, adorable little lady's dress! I'm sure Miss Biley will love it.
You are such a talented woman, Barb. And a -one in a million- Nana.
    Cheers,

    Jeanneke.
