Tidbits on Tuesday

I wasn't sure we'd get much good Fall color this year since it has been such a dry summer, but the last couple of days the trees have been showing their glorious shades of yellow, gold, crimson, purple, and more.

Today is blue skies, white fluffy clouds, and lots of wind. The pile of leaves on the ground is growing rapidly.

Yesterday DH wanted pizza for dinner, which certainly sounded good to me too. Instead of ordering one we made our own. I've rarely made my own pizza dough but found a recipe on Pinterest that sounded easy and the directions were great. The site also suggested a recipe for a Chicken Ranch pizza, which got my attention. We did have to get a few supplies at the store, but it was so worth it.  We did make our own ranch dressing instead of using store bought. I love to avoid additives and chemicals as much as I can.

It was good, but next time I want to add a bit more dressing and add more garlic as well.  The topping consists of Ranch dressing, grilled chicken, diced tomatoes, diced green onions, mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Today the idea for my October 12x12 for the Alpha-Dorable 12's group finally gelled and I put the last stitches in it just a little while ago.  The letters for October are U and/or V.  It was such fun to create this one.

DH had a great phone interview today and has a face to face interview with the company next week!
Tomorrow he has a second phone interview with another company!
Ohhhh, I do hope that one of these will be 'the' job for him.  He is anxious to get back to work and we'd love to be settled, if we need to move, before winter snows happen.  It is all in God's hands and it will be His timing that is right in all of this.
