Rolly Revealed

Last night I put the finishing touches on 'Rolly'.
I took a chance making this one as I did it pretty much backwards -- I did the raccoon first then added the background. It actually worked out pretty well. The raccoon was first under painted, then threadpainted.  The background was under painted around the raccoon then fabrics added and stitched.

On Wednesday my sister and I did a day out and I found several fabrics that I used to create the trees for this piece, along with a few from my stash.
Next week I'll be delivering Rolly to my friend Jan. He is a gift she is going to give her daughter. I think she will be pleased.
