Home Temp Home

It's been a busy busy last several days with moving to our new temporary home. Of course we have no idea how long temporary will be, but God knows and that's what's important. It is a very comfy 1920's era 2 bedroom house out in the country.

 Freckles is loving having so much area to run around in and explore. He saw a rabbit the other day and boy did that excite him! We are hoping he'll soon decide wanting to go outside at 4:30am is NOT a good idea. Today is was not only going outside to "do his thing", but he added the need to howl ... a lot.  I'm sure it was howling because he's letting everyone know it is DH's birthday today. Yep, that must be it. LOL

I have my half of the shared 2nd bedroom set up for sewing. The other side is our computer table where DH and I set up our computers, as well has his "office". I'm thinking we may both pull out the headphones as we often listen to different types of music and/or movies.

My computer is next to the window. Today is a gorgeous, sunny late summer day. I've seen some signs of Fall starting to creep up on us with a few trees in the area starting to turn color. Change... it is constant, it is all around us. We can fight it and try to stop it, or we can accept it and even get excited about the "new" that awaits us.

In the midst of all the changes going on in our life right now - a move and seeking employment, I am also thinking about and praying for....

Time to head to the kitchen... a fresh peach pie was requested by the birthday boy.
