Doing it Right

My mom has been my hero for many years - a wonderful example of a godly woman.  She is foremost in my thoughts these days as we see her nearing the end of her time here on earth.  I am cherishing the time I have to be with her.  She is sleeping a lot now and needing oxygen to make her breathing easier to manage. I can tell she knows she is failing in health. But... when she is awake she continues to be her happy self. She still kidsothers as she loves to do, and is so gracious and polite to the staff. What an example of  living a caring, loving Christian life right to the end. And so I look forward today to going to see her after church, to feeding her her lunch, which she can no longer do herself, to tell her again how much I love her.
