A Little FLUFF

Today I played with Old Bernie (my 520 Bernina) and created a fun thread play piece. The inspiration was a photo I took of dandelion 'fluff'.  I love all the little mini flowers (seeds) that are in the plant. It reminds me of those big fireworks that send out starry sparkles when it ignites.

I used a variety of Superior Threads - Bottom Line, Highlights, and Glitter. The tension on my machine was off a bit, but for this piece it actually was a plus, giving a bit of texture to the piece that would have been hard to create any other way.
