National Quilting Day!

In honor of it being National Quilting Day I am staying in my sewing room (except for those 'necessary' breaks) and am working on the paper pieced crazy quilt blocks for the Crabapple Hill Studio 'Heirloom Romance' quilt I'm making for my DIL.
I have all the purses embroidered, except for the beads that will go on after it is all quilted.  Once I get the blocks made I will do some embroidery on them as well. Glad I have until November to finish this one. I think it is going to be wonderful once done.

As I sew I have my collection of soundtracks from all the wonderful Jane Austen movies playing. What great music to sew by.

DH made and served me lunch -- he's definitely a keeper.

And now... I must return to my machine, time's a wasting.

... Later in the day ...
All 41 paper pieced blocks are DONE! WooHoo!  Now to lay out the quilt and put it together, then I can start on all the rest of the embroidery work.  So pleased I got so much done today.
