When I started this piece this morning little did I know the tragic event that was taking place across the country. My heart and prayers go out to all the families and the community that has been affected by this tragic killing spree. And earlier in the week it was much closer to us, actually a lot closer to where our kids live, at the mall in Oregon.
In this world which seems to be getting darker and darker through violence, hatred, despair there is LIGHT! There is good. There is hope. JESUS is the LIGHT of the world. We need to stop hiding our light under a bushel, we need to share that light with others so they too will know that there is HOPE, there is GOOD, there is LOVE, there is HELP, there is ALL we NEED just for the asking.
Lighthouses send out their beams miles and miles to sea to safely guide ships to shore during storms or through fog. That's how it is with Jesus.... he will guide us through the storms of life and get us through those times when we can't see any future ahead of us. Place you hands in His, let Him guide you and lead you. The peace you will have is like nothing else!
