Peppermint Marshmallows - YUM!

This is the Christmas that I'm trying all new recipes for my goodies. I didn't start out with that in mind, but it is how it has evolved and so far everything has turned out GREAT!  Today was my first try (ever) at making marshmallows.  I started with this recipe: Easy Peppermint Marshmallows, and as I was doing it I adjusted things a bit and followed the directions that Alton Brown has for marshmallows at: Alton Brown's homemade marshmallows.  The result was perfect!
