A Lavender kind of day

This morning was another viewing of the house (and they want to come back again tomorrow - woohoo). We didn't get to the Lavender Festival yesterday as originally planned, so that's what we did today. It is a lovely day and a great setting. Although the field of lavender was smaller than I thought it would be, it was delightful and so aromatic.  I also loved the row of sunflowers that were lining the driveway as you exited. Made for a delightful outing.  The bees were very happy too buzzing around in all the lavender and on the sunflowers.
