Sunday Blessings

I woke up early today to a gorgeous painted sky - Thank you, God! What a great way to start the day.

I spent the morning at church - singing praises - talking with God - reading the Word - listening to the message - fellowshipping with others.  Then I went over to spend some time with Mom.  She had just received communion that her church brought over to her.  She always enjoys that.

Mom has come down with a bad cold that if it hasn't become pneumonia, it has to be close to it.  Another resident was confirmed with pneumonia today and a third lady is also coughing, but not as bad as Mom yet. Mom's spirits are still great and she is eating about normal, so that is good.  She has been needing oxygen more the last 7-10 days. We just enjoy each day we are blessed to have her with us and will rejoice (as well as grieve) when God decides it is time to move to her forever home.

We have been so busy since our move that we haven't even gone down to look at the river, which is so close to us.  We did that after we came home (and before a nap).

We are so blessed to be able to live and work with such wonderful views right at our doorstep!  We may not have riches ($$), as determined by the world, but we are RICH beyond measure with all God is blessing us with.
