Today, before starting on the greenery around it I printed off a picture of it at this stage. I put it under clear plastic and using a dry erase marker I started playing with ideas for the greenery, to get the look I wanted. It was a great way to get it figured out.
That became my 'general idea' pattern that I worked from. I wanted to keep it pretty airy, and to give the effect of looking through trees and bushes to the water. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
Not to mat it and it will be finished. I can see more waterfalls happening in the future and I have several photos in my files to choose from. Waterfalls have fascinated me since I was very very small and they are still one of my (many many) favorites!
