Family Time & Sunny Days

A great way to start the week ... having one of our sons come up for a visit on his days off work.  Yesterday I took him in to visit with Mom. Hooray that it was one of her "awake" days. You can see how much she enjoyed it!  I'm so thankful that Mom is still recognizing people, that part of her memory has not gone yet. Hard to believe she's been on hospice just about 3 months now. They are ready to do the review to see if she will remain on hospice. The hospice nurse wants to keep her on, we'll see.

We're at day 6 of 100 degree temps here.  Could be another day of it tomorrow.  We're so glad our son headed home last night as today the mountain pass he would have gone over is closed due to a big fire. It's a dangerous fire year here.
DH is still looking for work. There are a couple of possible jobs on the wings -- one a full time paid job, the other is full time, but it is volunteer and we'd need to get support to cover our monthly bills. Lots of prayer going on and hoping that soon we can announce 'HIRED'.  God continues to care for our needs, what a blessing that is. We are so thankful for the many who are praying for it - it makes a big difference!
