This is my Father's World

It is so awesome to take in the beauty, the diversity, the ever changing world that God created and blessed us with.  Each place, each season has its own beauty.  Living here at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains we get to enjoy nature up close and personal each day.

This has been a pretty Autumn. I wouldn't say the colors are spectacular this year, but there are spots of spectacular mixed in with lovely hues of  green, yellow, gold, orange, and red.

We've been busy working outside getting our firewood all split -- which we finished yesterday. Now to stack all the split wood then get out the chainsaw and cut up the smaller lengths that don't need split. We should be warm and cozy all winter.

I'm not finding a lot of time to sew right now, but hopefully this winter when there isn't so much to do outside I'll be able to go up to my sewing room more and work on projects. I have a long list to do, just have to make the time to do it! For now, though, I'll enjoy the tapestry that is outside. What a beautiful creation you gave us, God. Thank you!

  2. Barb, the pictures are beautiful! Breath taking! You will have lots of time to sew once that snow starts to fall. You'll be happy you got all the wood done as well, for that cold weather that will be coming your way. Wrap up in quilts... and stay by the fire... and you will feel so good. I am thrilled for you and Dennis.... to see all the beauty, and to be doing what you love. Hugs Morgan oxoxoxoxox
